TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WEBSITE USERS
In using this service you agree to be bound by the following conditions:
1. The service provider and councils involved will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever incurred by you or any third
parties, arising out of the provision of inaccurate, incomplete or incorrect information by you.


2. The service provider and councils involved are not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever incurred by you or any third
parties as a result of the non-performance of this service, the timeliness of any response received, the non-availability of
this service for any reason, the failure of a report to be received, or otherwise.


3. We do not warrant or represent that this service is free from any computer virus, defect or contamination and expressly
disclaim any liability for any loss or damage whatsoever incurred by you or third parties as a result of your use of this
service.


4. We are obliged to maintain strict privacy of your details under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998,
and not to use the information supplied by you other than for the purpose for which it was supplied. This information
however may be disclosed in accordance with the exemptions provided in the Privacy and Personal Information Protection
Act 1998.


5. If you supply details of a third party as an onsite contact for this report, you will have to make that person aware of this
and ensure that they have no objections to the supply of their personal information as the contact.


6. You agree to comply with any guidelines, instructions and/or procedures posted on the Internet page.

7. Any abusive or offensive messages will be disregarded.

8. If dissatisfied with the involved Council’s response to your hazard report, do not keep sending reports through this website. Contact the Council by telephone and then follow this up with a written request for further action.


REGISTERED USERS WITH PASSWORD

1. If you are a registered user you have been provided with a unique password to enable online hazard reporting.


2. You must not disclose the password to any third party or attempt to use the password after leaving the position for which it
was provided.


3. You are responsible for any transactions conducted using your password.


4. You must immediately change your password if you believe it may have been disclosed to any other person or used fraudulently by any other person.


5. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of or suspect any unauthorised use of the Hazard Reporting System.


6. We may terminate your access to the Hazard Reporting System at any time and without notice.


7. You agree to comply with any guidelines, instructions and/or procedures posted on the Internet page.
